Business Licenses

Albany does not issue or require a general business license. The City only requires special licensing for the following:

• Temporary or transient merchants (Albany Municipal Code 5.10)
• Solicitors and peddlers (Albany Municipal Code 5.05)
• Taxi cabs and medical transport vehicles (Albany Municipal Code 5.14)
