Fall Leaf Pickup

Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon will begin picking up autumn leaves throughout Albany on Monday, November 9, 2009.

Leaf collection will continue during the weeks of November 16; November 23; November 30; December 14; and December 21, 2009.

Albany residents can make the annual event go smoothly by:

• Placing leaves at least a foot away from street curbs;
• Keeping leaves from blocking storm drains, driveways, and mailboxes; and
• Placing as many leaves as possible in Allied Waste yard debris carts, which are emptied every two weeks.
