Children's Performing Arts Series:
Bringing Fun and Learning Together
The Children’s Performing Arts Series was created in 1987 to enrich the lives of school-aged children by bringing performers and artisans to the Albany area. As school funding becomes tighter, it is more important than ever that our children have an opportunity to experience arts and music. For more than 20 years, the Albany Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with local businesses to make these performances a reality in area schools and free Saturday performance.
