The second round of Development Code amendments includes evaluating the following citizen suggestions:
Article 1, Administration and Procedures:
- Public notice for land use applications: Sections 1.203, 1.330(3), 1.350(2), and 1.370(2) - consider a larger notice area; and
- Section 1.080, Expiration of Land Use Approvals - consider extending the approval time period; and
- The entire article will be edited for clarity and grammar so any suggestions or questions on this article will be evaluated.
Articles 4 and 5, NC, ES, LE, MUR, and MS zones:
- Sections 4.050 and 5.060, Schedule of Permitted Uses. In response to noise complaints at bars, City staff will be evaluating whether restaurants, taverns and bars should be allowed near residences or have limited hours.
Article 11, Land Divisions:
- Section 11.060, Expiration of Land Use Approvals - consider extending the approval time period so that approved subdivisions do not expire; and
- Section 11.070, Staged Subdivision Development – evaluate time periods.
