Oregon e-Cycles
Beginning January 1, 2009 Oregon residents can bring up to seven computers, monitors and/or TVs to a local collection center where they will be recycled for free. Manufacturers are paying for the program and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is certifying the recyclers.
Local centers include the Coffin Butte Landfill, Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon, and the Albany Goodwill store. For more information see the Oregon DEQ's Oregon e-Cycles web site at: http://www.deq.state.or.us/lq/ecycle/index.htm
